I forgot my child’s username. How do they gain access to the platform?
Unfortunately, at this stage, Cooperation Island does not have the functionality to recover lost usernames. If your child wants to continue playing on Cooperation Island, we recommend making a new account.
Does my child get paid for participating in Cooperation Island?
No, your child does not receive any monetary compensation for contributing to Cooperation Island. While on Cooperation Island, though, your child can earn “shells,” which can allow your child to “purchase” an Avatar Experiences. Avatar Experiences are images of their avatar doing different things on Cooperation Island. When your child “purchases” an Avatar Experience, they earn a colored image of their Avatar Experience and also a coloring page that can be printed out. These Avatar Experiences are sent to the parent’s email that authorized the account.
Cooperation Island isn’t working on my phone? What should I do?
Cooperation Island is not set-up to work on a mobile device at this point. It is optimized for a desktop computer or laptop. Cooperation Island should also work on an iPad or tablet. What happens to my child’s data?

My child doesn’t live in the United States. Can they participate?
Yes, definitely! We welcome children from all over the world. Cooperation Island is only in English right now. Stay tuned for more languages in the future.
My child keeps playing the activities over and over. Is that okay?
It is totally fine for your child to play the games as much as they want. The activities are designed to be fun and engaging.
My child didn’t receive any feedback. How do I know how they did?
Our research activities are not designed for feedback. There are no right or wrong answers; your child can respond however they want to the questions, so there is no feedback to provide. If you want to know how your child responded, you can email us at cooperationisland@gmail.com and we can give you their responses.
I want to delete my child’s account. How do I do that?
If you want to delete your child’s account, you will need to email us at cooperationisland@gmail.com so we can do so for you.

Why is my child is having difficulties navigating the Voice Your Values activity?
The drag and drop functionality of Voice Your Values is currently a bit finicky. We apologize for this. We recommend your child be patient with the drag and drop functionality and try their best to organize the values in ways that align with their values.
How can I provide feedback on the games?
